India 1988 Year Pack (Full & Complete Set) of 57 Mint Unhinged Postage Stamps (Some Stamps Have Brown Gum/Stains on The Back)

Description

Fifty-seven stamps from 1988, mint never hinged, in one year pack. Our catalogue lists these issues for 1988, among others: Muhammad Iqbal, the Victoria Terminus centenary, the India’s Struggle for Freedom portraits (Sarat Chandra Bose, Govind Ballabh Pant and others), Hindi Day and the 75th Indian Science Congress.

As the title says, some stamps have brown gum or stains on the back. That is the norm for Indian stamps of 1987 and 1988; our seller’s notes put it down to gum quality and tropical conditions.

The other 1988 issues we have are on the India 1988 page.
